Recently we get an order from university.The professor need to measure flower petal.Today we will share how to measure it.
Step 1. Prepare the instrument and samples. We are using spectrophotometer CS-660 with 4mm aperture (Because some of the petal is small).

Step 2. Switch on the instrument and then calibrate it (white calibration and black calibration)

Step 3. Put the spectrophotometer test aperture on the petal, then press “print”, we can view the measurement area by camera to avoid measurement error. (Camera is a very good function when the samples are small or with pattern) At last, press “test”, we can see the sample L,a,b value on screen

Step 4. Press “menu”, we can enter into the color difference measurement page. Then press “test” we can get the color difference between different flower petals.
